Goodstuff is a unique local restaurant. It offers a relaxing rustic/industrial style vibe. The bar area is amazing.

Different nights offer different deals. Being whiskey drinkers and the boys loving wings; Wednesday night is our night of choice, offering a whiskey special and 50 cent wings.

For those who know me, they may think it is an odd choice for a vegetarian, but I love the apps and side dishes. Fried pickles, onion strings, and fried curd being my favorite.

I would love to see the restuarant put a homemade veggie burger, like a black bean burger, on their menu. But even without a veggie burger, their stuff is delicious. It is worth a try.
I am 5’10” and 189 lbs. OVERWEIGHT

It is a struggle. A real struggle. People always have an opinion. “Eat less; don’t snack when your kids snack; exercise more; don’t drink.” Well, honestly I want to snack with my kids; have a drink with my family and friends; find time to myself to exercise; ………maybe I don’t want to eat less, but I don’t want to be fat. I want that super sexy body I had in my 20s. Where did it go? Was it the 3 kids and 4 pregnancies or was it 10 years of maybe over abuse of food and lack of consistent exercise?
I constantly find myself like a yo-yo back and forth. A few weeks of strick dieting (clean eating) and daily exercise. Then a cold hits and gets me out of my positive routine, a hurt muscle, sheer annoyance that I have been working my butt off only to lose one pound, the list goes on and on. I just want to be skinny.
My good friend, Jen, recommended that I try ordering Hello Fresh. I decided to give it a try. I feel like I have been sticking to the same 5 or so recipes and repeating. Today was my first delivery. I picked 2 meals for the first week to give it a whirl and see if I liked it (and if it was family approved). My husband will eat anything I give him, but the 3 little guys are rather picky (to say the least). Well tonight’s meal was vegetarian black bean enchiladas and they were delicious.

We sat down to eat them and my middle son ran away traumatized that it was not one of those 5 rotating meals. So the 4 of us began eating. I am not exaggerating that it tasted better than going out to eat! And it was very easy to do! I was so happy to hear everyone, except for my middle son, commenting on how good it was. Well the middle guy finally tried it and he ate the whole thing! I must say I over ate…..eating 4! But I could not stop myself…yum! Tomorrow night is tostadas. I am looking forward to seeing how it is.
I decided recently to start blogging to talk about my day to day thoughts , ideas, and struggles. I am hoping to reach out to anyone else that can relate to these feelings I have and hopefully help them along with myself through the journey of life.
I am a mom of 3 healthy young boys. The wife of an amazing, hardworking, and handsome husband. Daughter of 2 supporting, loving, and very helpful parents. I am very blessed to have everything and everyone I have in my life.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
